Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 puts forward the concept of "Zero Carbon Asian Games", all the competition venues have used green electricity and all supporting projects also highlight the concept of "Zero Carbon". Hangzhouxi Station is an excellent model in achieving "zero carbon".

As an important supporting project of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, Hangzhouxi Station has made full use of roof resources. The power generation project is built by laying 7,540 mono-crystal silicon pieces, with a total area of 15,000 m2. After the completion of the project, it is expected to annually generate electricity of 2.31 million kWh on average, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide by about 2,300 tons per year.

The project will be completed simultaneously with the main building of Hangzhouxi Station, and will be connected to the grid in late June.
