On April 9, in Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre as the martial arts event venue of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, "Exciting Hangzhou" Zhejiang Youth Martial Arts (Taolu and Sanda) Championships (Group A) kicked off.

Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre is the venue for holding the martial arts and kabaddi competitions of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 and the taekwondo competition of Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022. This event is the first show of the venue after the reconstruction and upgrading, and the first practice of the whole venue operation team, to promote the training for Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. 

This event involved 456 people, including athletes and coaches. As the champion of men's long boxing in the event, Peng Rundong stated: "The venue has excellent conditions, and the competition area has good elasticity, which is very conducive to the performance of athletes." As the competition referee, Wang Di said: "Compared with other martial arts venues of the Asian Games that I have visited, this warm-up area for athletes is larger and divided by team, which is more humanized."

As the Deputy Commander of Media of Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre, Zhang Ting said: "In this venue test, we test 19 business areas to the greatest extent, and every detail is not missed."

This test of Guali Sports Centre is a practice for closed-loop management under the model of simulated outbreak. "In the aspect of the entire streamline design, there is a clear distinction between the inside and outside of the loop." Zhang Ting introduced: "All the working personnel and athletes are not allowed to be in contact with the people outside the closed loop, or the social communities. Inside and outside the venue, the considerate and meticulous pandemic prevention measures can be seen everywhere: at the secondary security checkpoint of the venue, the ground is marked with an obvious '1m line'; in the media mixing area, there is a distance of 2m between the athletes and the media; in the office for reporters, each seat is provided with transparent acrylic partitions by reference to the standard of Beijing Olympic Winter Games."

During Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, the sponsor also implements the detailed pandemic prevention zone and classification management, creating a safe sports event through the joint efforts by multiple parties.
