OLYMPIC UPGRADE
She crossed the line in fourth place in the 20km race walk at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but was promoted to the bronze medal position after the initial silver medallist was disqualified for a doping violation. (sports, 12 Jun 2020)

SANCTION
She tested positive for the prohibited substance higenamine at the 2016 World Team Championships in Rome, Italy. The IAAF accepted that the substance was not administered in order to enhance performance. She was stripped of the individual gold medal she won at the event and was banned from the sport for one month, becoming eligible to compete again in July 2016. FURTHER EDUCATION
