She saw an advert at her school about a cycling meet in Cuttack, India, and decided to give the sport a try. "I was not very aware about cycling back in 2015. Since the bikes were very different from regular ones, I was a bit scared in the beginning. But our coach helped me gain confidence and soon I overcame my fears.
